Have You Ever Noticed How Jesus Presents the Truth about a Relationship with God?

Taste and see that the LORD is good

The LORD says:

Is anyone thirsty, let him drink from the well and be satisfied. There is fullness, a richness, a feast to enjoy. He says, stop eating what is not satisfying you. Don't spend your hard earned money to invest in what does not nourish you. Listen carefully to Me and you will be eating what is nourishing (Isaiah 55:2). Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds forth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). Pay attention and come to Me. Listen, so you can live. (Isaiah 55:3).

THEN I will make an unconditional covenantal promise to you. (Isaiah 55:3) He stamps it with, "just like the reliable covenantal promises I made to David. (Isaiah 55:3)

The LORD is for those who obey Him, which equates to imitating Christ because everything He taught, He modeled. He wants to bless and satisfy you.

He bestows honor on you. (Isaiah 55:5)

Let the rich words of Christ and His invitation to an intimate fellowship with Him speak to you where you are. He is calling.

"Seek the LORD while He makes Himself available; call to Him while He is nearby! 7 The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the LORD, and He will show mercy to them." (Isaiah 55:6, 7)

Prayer:

Father God,

Thank You for this new life in Christ. Thank You for all that You have done to draw people to Yourself so that we can take refuge and find safety from the flood of iniquity and sin. Father I ask that You will illuminate our darkness and bring us into a deeper understanding of how to have a right relationship with You and please You by loving others. Teach us Your ways. Move us to a place of victory in the areas of our life where we have experienced loss or backsliding. Shine Your light on our path and guide us out of darkness. Speak Your benefits to our hearts and allow us to run forward in You. In the Name of Jesus I pray. Amen
